How It Works

How does CallClarity work?

Forward your business calls to your CallClarity number. The call routes to your existing phone — you answer normally, or if you can't, it captures voicemail. Either way, CallClarity records the call, runs it through AI, and sends you a clear summary by email and SMS within seconds.

Can I keep using my existing business phone number?

Yes. The simplest setup is conditional call forwarding: calls only go to CallClarity when you can't answer. You can also forward all calls — your choice. Forwarding setup varies by carrier — search your carrier's name with "call forwarding" or check their support docs for instructions.

What happens when I answer a call?

The call is recorded while you're talking. As soon as you hang up, CallClarity transcribes the conversation and AI pulls out who called, what they need, urgency, and recommended next steps. You get the summary by SMS and email within seconds — handy when you can't remember the details later.

What happens if I miss a call?

CallClarity captures the voicemail and runs the same AI summary you'd get for an answered call. You get the transcript plus who called, what they need, and how urgent it is — within seconds. No more wondering whether a missed call from a 706 number is worth calling back.

How accurate is the AI?

Very accurate for clear English conversations. Heavy accents, background noise, and cross-talk can reduce accuracy. The original recording is always available alongside every summary so you can verify any detail yourself.

Call Recording

Is call recording legal?

A recording notice is automatically played at the start of every call to inform all parties, which satisfies most state laws (including all-party-consent states). Recording laws vary by state — consult a lawyer if you have specific concerns about your jurisdiction.

What does the recording notice say?

A brief audio message played at the start of each call informing both parties that the call will be recorded.

Will my customers be put off by the recording notice?

Most won't notice or mind. The notice is brief (about 3 seconds) and standard — many businesses you've called play one for the same legal and quality-assurance reasons, so callers are used to hearing it. In several states the disclosure is required by law, so it doubles as compliance protection.

Can I listen to the recordings?

Yes. Every call summary on your dashboard has a playback link to the original recording.

Account & Billing

How do I cancel?

Cancel anytime from your account settings, or by emailing support@callclarity.io. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep service through what you've already paid for.

What happens to my call history and recordings if I cancel?

Your call data is retained for the duration of your subscription. If you cancel, your dedicated phone number is held for a grace period so you can reactivate without losing it; after the grace period, the number may be released. To request export or deletion of your data, email support@callclarity.io.

Can I forward to multiple phones?

Not yet — this is planned for a future release. Today, calls forward to a single number.

What if my forwarding number changes?

Update it in Settings — takes effect immediately.

How do I change my login email address?

Contact support@callclarity.io. We handle email changes manually to protect your account.
